Objective: This study aimed to investigate the importance of computed tomography (CT) in patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and to evaluate CT findings in these patient.

Materials and Methods: Patients who were admitted to our hospital with a suspicion of COVID-19 and who underwent thorax CT and transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction were retrospectively scanned from our database. Patients with at least one pathology in favor of COVID-19 pneumonia were included in the study and their CT images were evaluated by two experienced radiologists.

Results: In the evaluation of 65 thorax CT images, ground glass density was noted in all cases. Among the other findings, the following were observed; consolidation in 38 patients (58%), vascular prominence in 17 (26%), paving stone appearance in 26 (40%), nodules in 14 (22%), halo sign in 9 (14%), reverse halo sign in 2 (3%), bud branch appearance in 12 (18%), fibrosis in 21 (32%), air bronchogram in 10 (15%), bronchial wall injury in 11 (17%), pleural effusion in 7 (11%), pericardial effusion in 2 (3%), and mediastinal lymphadenopathy in 10 (15%).

Conclusion: Although there is no specific finding of COVID-19 pneumonia, CT plays an important role in the early treatment, isolation, and follow-up of patients.
